Program Overview
Concordia offers two online pathways for candidates to prepare for educational administration certification: a 教育领导理学硕士 以及邮政硕士K-12学校管理员证书. Graduates can be recommended to the State of Michigan school administrator certificate, and coursework for both programs aligns with the Michigan Standards for K-12 building principles.
Our programs teach traditional and contemporary theories and research and practices about human behavior in formal organizations and within schools. You will explore various school leadership roles as they contribute to the success of the instructional program, 特别是通过不断评价和改进人员, facilities, programs, schedules, services, and staff development.

What to Expect

Our post master’s in k-12 school administration equips educators and current administrators for school leadership in Michigan by developing skills in decision making, human resource management, teacher evaluation, and public relations.
Our 23-credit program is offered exclusively online through convenient eight-week courses, 它的设计考虑到了当前的教育工作者. 需要六个月的实习, and it is one of the most important learning experiences you’ll have as you become a proficient educational leader. Our internship is designed to provide practical experiences related to Michigan's Standards for the Preparation of School Principals. Practicum hours are completed before, during, and after the school day and reflect all aspects of the principal's role in education.

A: Yes! Master level credits from other education programs can be accepted towards credit in this program if the courses were taken in the past seven years.
Q: What is the format for courses?
